Drive base switches between using two sets of wheels (mecanum and terrain) using non-backdriveable servos
Custom miniature mecanum wheels: rollers with cast polyurethane, laser-cut side plates
Ball Drive
Designed as a unique FTC Legal 3-motor holonomic drive base
Four balls- driven by 8 wheels
Two motors drive each side forward and backward; one motor to strafe
Balls have PLA cores with layers of Flex Seal applied
CAD developed for over 5 months and manufactured/improved over 7 months (throughout the FTC Centerstage competition)
Cello Case Wheels
Replaced wheel mount for cello case wheels as they were falling apart
Designed from scratch with 6 versions
Replaced old wheel's rivet with goBILDA® parts
Four Bar Linkage Lift
Usage of a double reverse four bar linkage as a lift for the FTC Centerstage competition
Aluminum bars were cut and bent, and gears were purchased from goBILDA
Two motors go through worm gears to be non-backdrivable
Two touch sensors are placed at the bottom-most position to reset the encoders each time the lift reaches the bottom
